About Us
The Believe Learning Institute
The Believe Learning Institute (BLI) is dedicated to school improvement through the delivery of high-quality professional learning and development programmes for our entire workforce. Our aim is for our people to have the opportunity to learn new skills and build knowledge and experiences to enhance an individual’s expertise and effectiveness in their aspiring and practising role.
At the BLI we believe that if our people commit to lifelong learning, they can adapt to changing needs in our educational institutions and foster a sense of accomplishment and personal fulfilment.
Our Programmes
We provide a wide range of programmes that are CPD certified and nationally accredited to help our colleagues thrive. The directory of training for all employees includes; Behaviour & Culture, Business Management, Governance, Health & Safety, IT and Data, Leadership, People Management, Safeguarding, SEND, Teaching & Learning. In addition to this offer all of our schools have an accompanying CPD calendar.
The development programmes for teachers support them for the entirety of their career. We offer Initial Teacher Training (ITT), support with the Early Career Framework (ECF) and full access to National Professional Qualifications (NPQ) for established teachers and leaders. Our people can also access training from TES, The National College and the National College of Education.
Our Network
Being part of a network of schools provides valuable expertise and opens the doors to new opportunities. Our Trust Improvement partnerships are a great way of engaging with peers, mentors and education experts to develop our practice.
The BLI is home to Turing North West Maths Hub, part of national network coordinated by the National Centre of Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM). We work with Best Practice Network to facilitate our ECF and NPQ programmes, Leeds Trinity University for ITT and Liverpool John Moores University for postgraduate research.
